The police have begun a huge hunt for the failed suicide bombers that tried to repeat the attacks of 7/7 yesterday. The BBC reports that three of the devices were exactly the same size and weight as the explosives used two weeks ago. However, in all four cases yesterday, only the detonators went off, causing miniature blasts, and completely bewildering the would-be suicide attackers.

All four fled, and police have been interviewing the many eyewitnesses to the somewhat intriguing events - many of which say the bombers looked pretty shocked when they realised they weren’t blowed to bits.

All I can say on the matter is ‘thank God’. I’m not religious, but it feels like the right thing to say. Now we just have to hope they find them, and whoever’s paying for all of this.
